Use the delivery window on your confirmation
Delivery windows can vary by supplier and route. Example orders used 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; your confirmed window is the one to use. Have your own window, date, time zone, and advance-call request written on the order.
Measure the whole route
- Narrowest clear gate opening, including hinges and latches.
- Turns, steps, ramps, driveway grades, and low-clearance transitions.
- Trees, low cables, overhangs, and other overhead hazards.
- A level footprint with stable ground and room for the door.
- Delivery-vehicle and pump-truck access; ask dispatch for the exact clearance and reach needed.
- A pickup path that will still be open after your event or project.
A driver may use a two-wheeled hand dolly to move cabins after unloading. That does not mean every gate, step, lawn, or incline is feasible. Send photos and measurements first; leave the final placement decision to the driver’s site assessment.
A Yorba Linda driveway may slope; the footprint cannot
A level pad near a walkway or garage can work even when the driveway has an incline. Firm grass, pavement, or stable mulch was discussed for standard cabins. An accessible restroom needs a compliant firm, stable, slip-resistant route; loose landscaping is not automatically suitable. After rain, check the support surface again before the truck arrives.
Low signal or an undeveloped site
Send the entrance pin while you have reception, along with turn-by-turn landmarks and any bypass around a dip or road closure. A field pin in the middle of the property is less helpful than the actual truck entrance. Arrange an on-site meeting point if the driver cannot reach you by phone.
Pickup and unsuccessful access
For events, confirm the collection date and whether you need to call. For ongoing rentals, call for off-hire and retain confirmation. An inaccessible site can lead to an attempted-delivery charge; request the actual dollar amount in the agreement before delivery.
