Measure the path, not only the parking spot
A cabin may fit the final pad but not the gate or turn before it. For initial planning, standard cabins are described as about 44 inches wide and one deluxe configuration as about 47 inches wide. Both are approximate descriptions. Get the allocated model’s width, depth, height, and required maneuvering clearance before deciding that a gate will work.
Level footprint, safe approach
A sloped Yorba Linda driveway does not automatically rule out a delivery, but the unit itself needs a level, stable resting spot. A spot by a walkway or garage, or on suitable grass or mulch, may work after assessment. The driver must assess the actual route and ground; a hand dolly is not a solution for every stair or slope.
Accessible units need more than floor space
ADA access includes the route, threshold, door maneuvering space, interior turning space, and fixtures. A 60-inch-diameter circle or a compliant T-shaped turn is an interior turning-space option; do not confuse that with a 60-inch radius. Keep bins, sink stations, vehicles, and furniture out of the approach and door clearances.
Plan for weather and overhead obstacles
Check the ground after rain or heavy irrigation. In warm sun, look for shade where practical while maintaining ventilation and the service path. Tell dispatch about low cables and branches before arrival. Do not measure or approach energized overhead lines yourself; have the responsible site professional resolve the clearance.
Keep the exit plan open
The pickup truck needs access after the event, even if tables, fencing, or construction materials have moved. Open-ended rentals require an off-hire call. Confirm the billing-stop date and collection arrangement, then keep gates and the service path available until the unit is removed.
